No, the DraftPour does not require CO2 or nitro cartridges. Just plug it in or insert 2 AA batteries. DraftPour uses soundwaves and fluid dynamics to convert beers natural carbonation into our patented Micro-Foam.

No, the USB plug only provides power while plugged in. The two AA batteries power the dispenser when it is unplugged.
